K.A. CLEANS & FLUSHES ™ is a mild diuretic and urinary antiseptic that assists the blood clearing action of kidneys by increasing the volume and flow of urine, and acts to “flush” the body of harmful compounds accumulated during exercise. As an antiseptic, it acts by effectively cleansing of the urinary tract to reduce the risk of low grade bladder infection ‘cystitis’. Thus, K.A. CLEANS & FLUSHES ™ assists in promoting the action of the kidney, helping to increase urinary flow to eliminate problems such as ‘oedema’ of the lower limbs, which often occurs in horses on high grain diets after hard work or racing.
K.A. CLEANS & FLUSHES ™ is a handy product to have in the kennels at all times to regularly flush the system of racing greyhounds, especially bitches prone to ‘cystitis’ or bladder infection, or greyhounds on high dry food diets that result in increased risk of urinary crystals. Simple indications of when K.A. CLEANS & FLUSHES ™ may be used include smelly urine, thick urine or orange/darkish urine, or cloudy, ‘gritty’ urine in racing greyhounds suffering from ‘crystals’ in the urine. It is not necessary to use K.A. CLEANS & FLUSHES ™ everyday, as it is most beneficial when used after fast work or racing.
A level scoop (enclosed) holds 30 g K.A. CLEANS & FLUSHES ™.
HORSES Mix 15 g (one half scoop) with feed morning and night. After hard work or racing mix 30 g in the first feed.
GREYHOUNDS Mix 5 g (one teaspoon) in the feed morning and night when required. After hard work or racing, mix 10 g with first feed.
